Formerly a barn on the Flete Estate, Whitehayes is very close to the Erme Estuary which is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest. Mothecombe Beach is approximately 5 mins by car and at low water offers a wonderful sandy estuary on the public beach. The private beach is open on Wed. Sat. and Sunday.

From A38 take left at Wrangaton Cross for Ermington A3121 and Yealmpton Modbury A379, 1 mile on to Kitterford Cross turn right onto A3121, 5 miles on join A379 Yealmpton/ Plymouth 1 mile on turn left for Holbeton/ Mothecombe, 1.5miles on turn left to Holbeton. Follow sign to Village Hall. Whitehayes Barn is situated on far side of Village Hall
