Wheatlands Lodge is the largest family owned and run hotel in York that offers a personal service to all their guests.
The hotel has a free private car park and also the benefit of good bus services to all areas. The hotel isideally situated close to the city centre and its many attractions, and also within minutes of the York bypass.The railway station is a five minutes walk connecting with all main line stations. So whether your intentions forthe day are touring the City or travelling to some of Yorkshire's beautiful resorts, the hotel with its relaxingatmosphere and traditional Yorkshire hospitality, is the perfect base. |
| The hotel has 60 centrally heated, individually furnished rooms, offering both comfort and affordability. All rooms have en-suite facilities, complimentary tea/coffee facilities, colour TV, hairdryer, and shaving points. A number of the bedrooms are at ground floor level. |
There are two large comfortable residents lounges with colour TV on the ground floor, ideal for relaxation after a busy day sight seeing or shopping.
The hotel also boasts a spacious bar lounge where residents can relax with a drink before or after their evening meal.
Full English breakfasts and Evening meals are served in the traditionally decorated and spacious dining room.
