The Westhill Country Hotel has been owned and run by the Smale family for over 35 years, and has regularly won courtesy awards for its friendly and helpful staff.
Situated in an elevated position, inland on the rural outskirts of St. Helier, surrounded on three sides by agricultural land and sited in its own five acres of award winning gardens.
For the convenience of our guests, the hotel operates a courtesy bus service to central St. Helier. Alternatively there is a public bus stop near the hotel for the mile and a half journey into the Island's capital.
The St Helier seafront and beautiful St. Aubins Bay are only a five minute drive downhill from the hotel.
Facilities
All public areas of the hotel are bright and spacious and include an attractive cocktail bar which leads onto the garden room. Adjacent to the garden room is the dining room, both of which look over the gardens and swimming pool.
On the same level is a comfortable ballroom bar, and above, a children's' games area with pool table. Entertainment takes place in the ballroom or garden room four or five evenings a week during season.
Within the hotels five acres of grounds there are two swimming pools, (one for children), surrounding sun terraces with garden rooms and a poolside bar serving drinks and light snacks. The beautifully tended gardens feature spacious areas in which you can relax a nature trail to explore and various outdoor activities for young and old alike.

Bedrooms
A limited number of bedrooms are situated on the public area level, although it should be noted that all ground floor rooms may necessitate a few steps. All other bedrooms are situated on the first, second and third floors. It is worth noting that the hotel does not have a lift and therefore may not be suitable for guests with severe walking difficulties.
All bedrooms feature private facilities i.e. bath or shower, w/c, colour television, radio, direct dial telephone and tea and coffee making facilities.
Golf
Matthew & Jonathan are keen golfing bandits and organise a fun weekly golf day at one of Jersey's premier golf courses Les Mielles Golf & Country Club.
Golfers can take there pick from a large selection of golf courses across the island many with stunning views. There are three 18 hole courses on the island Les Mielles Golf & Country Club, La Moye and the Royal Jersey. Other courses include the Jersey Recreation Grounds, Les Ormes Golf and Leisure Club and Wheatlands Golf Club.

The Westhill Country hotel is the perfect venue for any wedding.
The hotel is ideally located within a 15 minute walk to St. Aubin's Bay and only a short 5 minute drive into Jersey's capital St. Helier.
The Restaurant which can cater for up to 80 (between 1pm and 5.30pm overlooks our stunning, award-winning gardens. Our dishes have been specifically selected by Chef to illustrate the exiting variety of food available to you for your Wedding reception. If you ideas or preferences of your own, we are more than happy to tailor the menus to incorporate them.
For further entertainment continue your day into the evening in our spacious Ballroom whether it be a DJ and dancing or just relaxing with family and friends.
