	Turf House Lane Cottage was formerly two farm workers cottages of the Bowood Estate, now converted into a comfortable family house with a large garden.We are situated in a quiet country location with beautiful views, including the white horses of Cherhill and Broadtown.

We have full central heating, plus log fires in winter. All rooms have comfortable beds, colour television and tea and coffee making facilities. For those of you who dine with us in the evening we use our own fruit and vegetables when in season, and local produce as much as possible. We provide a full English breakfast, including home made bread and preserves.

Local pursuits include fishing, riding and golf, there being 6 golf courses within 20 minutes. Local attractions are Bowood House and Gardens, the National Trust Village of Lacock, beautiful Castle Combe and the prehistoric site of Avebury. Marlborough is just 25 minutes, the beautiful Georgian city of Bath with its Roman baths is 35 minutes, and Bristol 40 minutes.
