The Warren is a beautiful property located on the edge of the village of Alton and situated in a delightfully tranquil setting. Our bed and breakfast rooms are spacious, freshly decorated every year and have all the amenities you need for a real "Home from Home" stay.
The owner, Annette Bastock, will help you with any arrangements you may need to make, either before or during your visit, our objective being that your stay at The Warren will be a truly memorable one.
From The Warren Alton Towers is less than five minutes drive but the Peak District and The Potteries are also within easy striking distance. The area has a wide range of attractions and there really is something to suit all tastes and age groups.
All rooms are tastefully decorated and have en-suite shower facilities. They are centrally heated and fully equipped with everything you need for a memorable stay.
Each room has a colour TV, DVD Player, refrigerator, hair dryer, iron, ironing-board and tea / coffee making facilities. Look in the fridge - you may even find a little treat !!
The rooms are completely separate from the main residence thereby ensuring complete privacy and each room has it's own private entrance off the main drive. With full off-road parking facilities our guests can come and go as they please without any constraints whatsoever.
The Warren has large gardens, for the pleasure of our guests, with immediate access to public footpaths leading to beautiful walks through the surrounding countryside.
Other than the immediate amenities at The Warren, we are situated within easy walking access to the village of Alton (village centre approximately five minutes walk).
The village is steeped in history and is well worth exploring in it's own right. Other than this Alton boasts a wide selection of Public Houses, serving food to suit most tastes, as well as a village store and a Post Office / newsagent, both with ATM machines.
A little further afield you can find restaurants of various types, including Indian, Pakistani and Chinese as well as some very nice Bistros.
If you don't have your own transport there is a bus service from the village to Alton Towers and the nearby towns of Uttoxeter and Cheadle. However, the service is not that frequent, so it may be wise to check with us when booking so that we can recommend a local taxi firm. The nearest Railway station is Uttoxeter but Derby, Stoke and Stafford all have mainline stations.

All rooms have en-suite shower rooms. All prices are per room per night and include a full English breakfast. A £25 deposit cheque is required to secure the booking (payable to A Bastock). Discounts apply for extended stays.
Directions: Alton itself is really easy to find from most directions. Simply look for the brown Alton Towers signs from all major motorways and follow them right into the village. From there our maps will allow you to find The Warren with ease.
