The Old Rectory is a Country House Bed and Breakfast ideally located close to Exeter International Airport in the heart of Devon’s rolling countryside
We offer elegant and luxurious accommodation in probably the most convenient location for anyone wishing to travel in and out of the Airport or wanting to spend time in the Exeter Area on business or pleasure.
We are located less than 1 mile from the terminal entrance and only minutes away from some of the landmarks and major businesses in Exeter. We couldn’t be easier to find, being 5 minutes from the M5 and 2 minutes from the A30
The lovely old house dates back centuries and is tucked away at the end of a long gravel drive in over an acre of grounds. It has been lovingly restored and now offers a most comfortable and luxurious feel for your relaxation.

Your stay with us
Arrival/departure Arrival can be any time after 3.30pm. Please let us know if you are going to be any later than 9pm. Please vacate your room by 10.30am.
Afternoon Cream Tea Between 3.30pm and 4.30pm we serve complimentary cream tea to guests.
Breakfast …Full Cooked West Country Breakfast is included and is served in the dining room between 7.30am and 9am. We offer a wide choice of hot and cold freshly prepared food. It is cooked to order in our farmhouse kitchen in the Aga. Produce is sourced locally, where possible. Dietary needs are catered for with notice. Early bird breakfasts are available to take away. I hold a Public Hygiene Certificate.
Local Pubs and Restaurants We are lucky to live close to some very good pubs offering excellent food. If you would like transport to these hostelries we are happy to arrange it.
Airport Transfers We offer free transfers to and from Exeter airport. Please book your ride when you book your room.
Parking We have lots of safe off road parking space.
Luggage We have a safe store room if you need to drop your bags off with us prior to your room being ready. Help is at hand with your luggage up the stairs.
Alcohol We do not hold a licence to sell alcohol, but you are more than welcome to bring your own. We can help with glasses and opener.

Our rooms are all on the first floor and have been interior designed with comfort in mind. Our shower/bath rooms feature Spanish ceramic tiles, sandstone, glass and chrome heated towel radiators

French Rose
If its romance or elegance you are looking for, you won't be disappointed with this spacious suite. A mix of French and English antiques set the style and the bow ended bed is billowing with soft cushions. The views from the bay window are of the front gardens and the dovecote. The stylish shower room is completely up to date with contemporary ceramics and a large glass walk in shower; there's even a window seat with views of the walled flower garden.

Bird of Paradise
Designed in soft blue with full drapes and floaty blinds, this sumptuous double aspect suite overlooks the front and side gardens with views to the moors.. This is our largest room. It has a built-in wardrobe, winged chair with footstool, ladies button back chair and dressing table/desk; the spacious bathroom has full size bath with shower over and glass screen. This room has the added benefit of an interconnecting room.

The Lavender Room
A delightful room full of charm and brimming with character helped along by the old oak beams, antique fireplace and French toile wallpaper. There are easy chairs, hanging space and occasional furniture. The views are to the walled flower garden and the shower room has a double walk-in shower.
