Registered with the English Tourism Council with 3 Diamond classification your hosts Peter and Carol offer the following amenities:

Double glazing and full central heating throughout (hot water is always available). All rooms are equipped with colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, wash hand basin and razor point. Rooms with ensuite facilities.

A comfortable lounge with satellite television, complimentary tea and coffee plus a licensed bar (feeel free to come back during the day any time you please).

Good Location and so much to do.

Situated on the west side of the city, Romley House is within 10 minutes walking distance of the railway station, racecourse, city centre and all amenities. On street parking is available at all times.

The City of York - rich with history such as the Romans and Vikings, York has so much to offer. Sights such as the Minster, one of the finest churches of Northern Europe, the City Walls, River Ouse with scenic boat trips, musums for all the family including the National Railway and Castle Museums plus the world famous Jorvik Viking Centre.

Bus tours of the city operate throughout the year.

There are also attractions outside the city, but within near proximity, including the Dales, North York Moors and coastal resorts.

Romley House is open most of the year and prices vary according to the season.

A full English cooked breakfast is normally served but alternatives are also offered.

Any special dietary requirements can be catered for wherever possible.
