Situated on Grosvenor Terrace, The Park View is a delightful late Victorian town house, which is decorated and furnished to reflect the styles and elegance of the same period. Andy and Gaynor assure you of a warm welcome and our personal attention during your stay with us.

The Park View is only a short walk from York's historic city centre. Most of York's many and varied attractions are easily accessible on foot from the Park View including

As well as all the cultural attractions York has many stylish shops, bars and restaurants to tempt you.
As you won't need your car to explore the city centre, parking is available at The Park View, however just an hours drive will bring you to the Dales or the Yorkshire coast and makes the Park View the ideal location for that longer stay |
At the park View it is our aim to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible and is therefore completely non smoking.
Each of our distinctive and charming rooms has either an en-suite or private shower room. The rooms are equipped with colour TV, hairdryer, electric clock radio and iron and Ironing Board as well as a hospitality tray and complimentary toiletries.

Breakfast is served in our elegant dining room with a choice full English, vegetarian or smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, many of the ingredients we use are sourced from local producers for a full flavour. A continental breakfast selection is also available for those who prefer it to a cooked breakfast or even as well as!

Directions
From the South
From the M1/A1 take the A64. Leave the A64 for the A1237 signposted York and A19 Thirsk. At the 5th roundabout turn right onto the A19 York, follow the Rd for two miles and Grosvenor Terrace is the 2nd turning on the left after the Grange Hotel.
From the North
Either take A1 and exit onto A64, then follow directions from the south (above) or take the A19 into York and Grosvenor Terrace is the 2nd turning on the left after the Grange Hotel.
