They have many years experience in the hotel and catering industry and are actively involved in the everyday running of the business.

Bedrooms

Catering fully for the needs of our guests each of the 24 well-appointed en suite bedrooms are equipped to a high level of comfort. All rooms have colour TV, radio, telephone and a hospitality tray.

Weddings and Social Functions

The staff of the Maerdy Hotel are well experienced in catering for and organising that "special event". We have the capability of hosting up to 200 people for either buffet or "served" functions meals.

Restaurant

The restaurant and breakfast room offers a varied menu with good food to compliment your stay in the hotel or to enable you to entertain your friends in our comfortable surroundings.

Bar and Lounge Facilities

A comfortable lounge with bar is located centrally with easy access to all business and leisure facilities.

Exhibition facilities are offered extending the capability of the Maerdy Hotel to cater comprehensively for business functions.

Full conference facilities exist and the staff are expert in providing the total support required to make such events successful.

Situated close to junction 35 of the M4 the Maerdy Hotel and Conference Centre is in the ideal location for the developing business area of Bridgend. An umber of important industrial estates lie within easy access of the hotel making it an ideal site for accommodating business personnel and for hosting conferences and off-business training sessions.

Being almost equi-distant from Cardiff and Swansea and within easy reach of the beautiful Heritage Coast and the Maerdy Hotel is an excellent site for leisure stop-overs especially for the McArthur Glen Designer Outlet Village.
