Part of a large Victorian villa, Glades House is one of only a few establishments in the south side of Glasgow. It is located in a quiet residential cul-de-sac, with ample on street parking. The city centre is only (2 miles) 10 minutes away by car, train or bus. All areas of Glasgow can be reached by car within 20 minutes. ACCOMMODATION
Rooms are only available on a 'room only' basis. Glades House provides single, double, twin and family rooms (some en-suite). All bedrooms (serviced daily) are equipped with wash hand basin, colour TV and tea/coffee facilities. The dining room and kitchen are available to guests at all times. A large TV lounge is available on the ground floor.
KITCHEN and EATING
A fully equipped kitchen with excellent laundry facilities is available at no extra cost. An ASDA Superstore is 250 yards away providing breakfasts, if required and shopping. A wide variety of restaurants, pubs and 'carry out' establishments are within a 10 minute walk.
HOW TO FIND US
By Car Exit the M8 motorway at junction 15, signposted Glasgow Cathedral and initially follow signposts to Glasgow Cross. On crossing the River Clyde (1 mile) and keep on the main road, reaching Cathcart Road and then Crosshil railway station (1 mile), turn left into Albert Road.
By Train From Central Station trains for Newton, Neilston and Cathcart Circle go to Crosshill station. Exit here and cross the main road into Albert Road.
PLACES OF INTEREST
The Burrel Collection, Glasgow Museums, Art Galleries and Conference centre (SECC) are all within 15 minutes travel by car. Easy access (2 mile) to the M8 motorway, mean that Loch Lomond, Edinburgh, and Stirling are all within 1 hours travel.
The Ayrshire Coast with its superb golf courses and Burns connections is equally easily reached from Glades House.
