Elsie and Drew Robertson will extend a warm Highland Welcome when you visit us at Edencoille Guest House, where personal attention is paramount for our guests.
Edencoille is a charming small family run 4 Star guest house positioned in an elevated position overlooking Loch Leven, among the dramatic peaks of Glencoe and the Mamore Forest.
The area is an ideal location for hillwalking,fishing, climbing and wildlife watching, being the haunt of the Golden Eagle, Peregrine falcon, Red Deer, Otter and Pine Marten.
We are well known for our full Scottish breakfast and quality cuisine, providing and extensive menu for evening dinner, served each day between 18.00 - 21.30 . We are particularly renowned for our local fresh sea-food, which includes lobster, scallops, crab, mussels and langoustines. All seafood meals must be pre-ordered with 24 hours' notice.

Accommodation
Guest bedrooms are all immaculately decorated in an attractive country style.
The rooms are equipped with colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities, wash basins, hairdryers, foot spas and most rooms have en-suite facilities.
We are renowned for our full Scottish breakfast which is guaranteed to provide a hearty start for most walkers, climbers, skiers anglers and tourists alike.
We also provide an extensive menu for evening dinner, which is served from 6.00 pm to 9.30 pm.
We use fresh local produce wherever possible. Please note, we do request a minimum of 2 hours' notice for dinner bookings.
We also offer a packed lunch, but request that this is order the previous evening to enable us to have it ready for you in good time.
Our aim at Edencoille is to satisfy all guests, ensuring that they leave us with fond memories of their holiday in Lochaber and hoping they will return to us in the future.

 | Activities
The Lochaber area is surrounded by beautiful scenery, whatever time of year you visit. You can enjoy the tranquility of the surrounding area and the beauty of Loch Leven right on our doorstep, or travel a little further afield to Fort William and enjoy Glen Nevis and the magnificence of Ben Nevis. Nearby is Glencoe, popular with climbers and walkers alike, as well as those interested in the history of more troubled times in the area. Loch Ness, Oban, Mull and the Ardnamurchan Peninsula are all within one or 2 hours' drive.
Climbing There is no better place than the Western Highlands to come and climb. As we are situated close to the mountains of Glencoe and not far from Ben Nevis, Britain's highest Mountain there is an abundance of rock and ice climbing available in the local area.
Canoeing & Kayaking With our vast range of mountain rivers and reputation for wetter weather the white water kayaking in this area is undoubtedly the best in the U.K. and there are advanced courses available from Vertical Descents in Inchree, Onich, for enthusiasts with their own equipment. There is also a fantastic amount of sea kayaking available in the area that ranges from beautiful inland sea lochs where you can explore castles and coastlines to open crossings to the inner and outer Hebrides.
Walking There are many forest walks and gentle hill walks around the area including walks around the Nevis Range ski area (during the summer), which are reached by taking the Gondola to the top station. The Nevis Range website and the local Tourist Information Centre will provide more detailed information.
Long Distance Walking The West Highland Way which runs from Milgavie near Glasgow and travels 95 miles through some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland, ending in Fort William, runs through Kinlochleven. Fort William is also the start of the Great Glen Way which is is 73 miles in length and runs to Inverness, in the east, with spectacular views and historical and natural heritage to be discovered all along the way.
The Ice Factor As well as being the biggest indoor ice climbing facility in the world, the Ice Factor which is located on our doorstep in Kinlochleven features the UK 's largest articulated rock climbing wall and a competition-standard bouldering hall, making it the perfect place to practice, train and learn every conceivable mountaineering skill.
Cycling and Mountain Biking Fort William, Glencoe and Kinlochleven areas have miles of forest tracks offering gentle family cycling as well as the largest downhill mountain bike track in Britain – not for the faint hearted! Guided off road cycling excursions including bike hire are provided by Wheely Good Bike Guides based in Inchree or cycles can be hired from local outlets such as Off-Beat Bikes or Nevis Cycles in Fort William.
