Duporth Guest House is an elegant Victorian building set in a conservation area just off Penzance Promenade. We have magnificent uninterrupted sea views across Mounts Bay and the small fishing village of Newlyn.

The guesthouse has been fully refurbished as of March 2008. It is ideally located for tourists and business people alike. It is ideal location for people who want to experience the history and beauty of picturesque Cornwall.

The centre of town is only a 10-minute walk away where you can find the famous chapel street and dine in your choice of restaurant or café to suit your taste.

We are once again only a 10-minute walk away from the harbour where you can access the Scillonian III ferry to the Isles of Scilly. Long stay parking for the Isles of Scilly is also only a stones throw away.

There is plenty of free on-street parking surrounding the guesthouse. We also offer wireless Internet free of charge to all guests. Children welcome. Any children under 4 years old are free of charge and above half price.

Local Attractions

Tate St Ives-Tate St Ives offers a unique collection of modern Art, which has been created in the surroundings, which it was inspired.

St Michaels Mount- A medieval castle which can be reached by foot across a causeway when the tide is out. Alternatively by boat at high tide. It is home to Lord St Leven.

Barbara Hepworth museum and sculpture garden- Dame Barbara lived in St Ives from 1949 till her death in 1975. Her home is now a museum displaying sculptures, drawings and other memorabilia.

The Minack Theatre- Cornwall's open-air theatre set on the rocky cliffs of Porthcurno beach.

Newlyn- A small fishing village which houses the famous Newlyn Art gallery and just around the corner the picturesque village of Mousehole.
