With a range of doubles, twins and single rooms, all with Flat Screen TV, WI-FI internet, trouser press, direct dial telephones, complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits in all rooms. As part of our major refurbishment project we are near completion on our 10 Premium 4 Star Quality Rooms
Restaurant
Our Chefs produce an extensive 'A la Carte' menu which is available for lunch and dinner. Our style is classic British food in a modern style. Using only the best of British seasonal ingredients. Breads, scones, pasta and ice cream are all homemade.
Lounge
The Lounge at The County Hotel offers a relaxing and informal meeting area for a business meet or just a lunch time coffee.
Situated just to the left of the Hotel's reception area the Lounge is also ideal as a meeting point if you catching up with other guests who are staying at The County.
Conference Facilities
The County is a popular meeting and conference venue. All meeting rooms are purpose built and have natural daylight – with six rooms available. Four on the ground floor and five with full disabled access.
We can accommodate from 2 to 150 delegates on day delegate and also offer a residential 24 hour rate.
Ideally situated within 5 minutes walk from Chelmsford train and bus stations and with 80 car parking spaces we are close to the M25 J8, A12, A130 and the A414.
