Chester House. A detached character 10 bedroom property at least 160 years old. A comfortable and friendly guesthouse offers you the chance to sample that home from home experience. Whatever the reason for your visit we aim to make it a memorable one.
Location
Chester House is approximately a 5 minute walk from the train station and a 5 to 10 minute walk to the town centre and university with the Barbican and Plymouth Hoe being about 20 minutes. The dockyards are a 5 minute drive away.
Guests going to Roscoff or Santander will have a 5 minute drive to the ferry terminal and Torpoint ferry to H M S Raleigh is the same.
Arrival
On arrival a nice cup of tea or coffee in the lounge or garden can help you unwind after your journey, where we can give you a map and help you with information and directions for local amenities and attractions. Front door keys will be given so you can come and go as you please.
Parking
A free secure car park is at the rear where your car can be left without having to unload if you are catching the ferry the next day and a garage is available for bikes to be kept under cover.
Rooms
All rooms are non-smoking, have double-glazing, central heating, colour television, tea/coffee making facilities. Iron and hair dryer on request, and any other items you may require. We also supply cooling fans for those hot summer nights.En-suite and ground floor rooms are available.
Breakfast
A full English or continental breakfast is available from 6.30 - 9.00 am and any special dietary requirements can be catered for with prior notice. |
