A good selection of restaurants, pubs and hotels (open to non-residents) are in or close to the centre. The Heritage Coastal Path runs along the impressive red cliffs with magnificent sea views for walkers. Beautiful relaxing gardens are a feature of Sidmouth - the Connaught Gardens on the west side and the Blackmore Gardens close to the town centre. Sidmouth has much to offer in or out of season and is a good location for visiting a variety of local attractions.
