Atlantic offers you the attractions of St Ives – whether you like surfing, sun-bathing, walking or just pottering around the harbour and visiting the many art galleries – in a comfortable B&B guest house with wonderful sea-views and a generous breakfast. Families are welcome, and we have an excellent family bedroom for those with young children. All bedrooms have en suite shower and toilets.
The bedrooms
We have three bedrooms available - two double rooms and one twin. Outside the main school holidays, the twin room is also available for letting as a single room for only a small extra charge. All rooms have en suite facilities and colour TV and tea and coffee-making facilities; drinking chocolate and herbal teas are also provided. Double room 1 and the twin room These rooms have excellent views over Man's Head, Clodgy Point and the sea beyond. All beds are full-sized.
Double room 2
This large room is furnished with a full-sized double bed, and there is also a seating area. Directly from the bay window is a view of The Island (the headland of St Ives) and the sea beyond; there are also side views out to sea and up St Ives Bay beyond Carbis Bay towards Hayle.
Breakfast
We aim to give you a breakfast which will start your day in the best possible way. Our full breakfasts are generous, including eight different items. In addition to a traditional English breakfast, we cater specially for vegetarians and vegans (please contact us if you have particular queries). There is also a good range of fruit, fruit juices, cereals and yoghurts. Breakfast is served from 8.00 to 9.30 (earlier in a good cause!)
Location
You’ll find us on the hill just above the Tate Gallery, less than five minutes walk from the harbour, the town and Porthmeor surfing beach. People who visit St Ives usually want to come back. Large numbers do - many of them again and again. Our aim is to make sure that once you have stayed at Atlantic, you won't want to stay anywhere else. Many of our guests said they would come back, and many do (some very often) - the record is 36 hours before returning! Families with small children, couples without any, and single people have all commented on how much they enjoyed the atmosphere at Atlantic.
