Aldbury House is a spacious, modern, detached, centrally heated house situated in a quiet side road in the village of Wyre Piddle and about 2 miles from the historic town of Pershore and eight miles from the M5 Motorway. The nearby Anchor Inn offers meals and the opportunity to sit on its terrace and enjoy a panoramic view of the River Avon and surrounding countryside.
All bedrooms are en-suite, comfortably furnished and include colour televisions, hot beverage making facilities, hair dryers and alarm clock/radios. The tariff includes breakfast - full English or continental. Packed lunches can be provided upon request. Room only terms can be negotiated.
Telephone, fax, email and computer facilities including broadband internet access are available upon request and both of the owners speak French.
There is ample, off-road parking for motor vehicles. Tourist literature is available and Margaret and Jim will do their very best to ensure that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. |
About the area

Plenty of cultural, leisure and shopping opportunities exist in Evesham and in Pershore, with its new theatre and riverside walks. Worcester has a Cathedral, Civil War Museum, Royal Worcester Porcelain Factory, the River Severn and County Cricket Ground as well as excellent opportunities for shopping in a traffic free environment.
Walkers can enjoy the Wychavon Way, the Malverns and Bredon Hill while Broadway, gateway to the numerous mellow and picturesque stone villages of the Cotswolds is a short drive away.
A visit to Stratford on Avon with its Shakespearean associations and its many attractions could be combined with a visit to Warwick and its medieval castle.
We are ideally located for visiting National Trust Properties including Coughton Court, Hanbury Hall, The Fleece Inn, Charlecote Park and Middle Littleton Tithe Barn.
Keen gardeners can visit Croome Park, Spetchley Gardens, the famous Webbs Garden Centre at Wychbold and at the same time might like to call in at Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings at Stoke Heath.
Fishing is available nearby and within ten minutes drive there is a choice of golf courses. The race courses of Stratford, Worcester and Cheltenham are not far away. |
